Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Community Health Center / Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that offers primary care, behavioral health, and dental services, discounted pharmacy services, and a sliding fee program for insured and uninsured patients. We are private nonprofit serving 13 counties in Western North Carolina.

The Position

Type of clinic/specialty: FQHC - Family Outpatient Clinic
How many hours per week: Full-time, 40 hrs per week Mon-Friday with schedule TBD with usually being four 10's. Clinic is open 8a-6p M-F.
No Weekends or Holidays - Clinic Closed
Whom else will the provider be working with? Other Providers will be on-site along with a full support staff
What are the typical work hours: Usually four 10s' with schedule TBD with clinic hours 8a – 6p M-
Call is very minimal with current rotation being on call for a full week, approx every 2 to 2.5 months
How many patients per day: Bonus and Incentives based on a min of 15.9 patients per day
Provider will have 20 patients on their schedule and the goal is to see 18 or more per day
2-3 years of PA experience in Family/Primary Care required
Active NC license (may consider a pending license for right candidate)
DEA required
BLS certification required
EMR system: OCHIN EPIC
This is a Primary Care/Family Medicine Position and provider needs experience with co-morbidities, acute care and HIV/Aids.
Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are looking for an Advance Practice Nurse (APN), Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide professional medical services to complement the delivery of integrated team-based, whole-person, trauma-informed primary health care services. This role will assess, maintain, and improve the health status of individuals in the communities served through timely access to evidence-based acute, preventive, and chronic disease care. Effectively collaborates with, and/or delegates to members of the interdisciplinary health care team, and provides indirect supervision of medical support staff.

Compensation and benefits
Salary range: $102K - $125K
Quarterly incentive plan (up to $20,000 per year) based on quality-of-care measures as well as clinical production
