Location: Juneau, AK
Schedule: 1/2 day per week
Pay: $90 to $105 an hour.
Office: OWN OFFICE REQUIRED. You need your own brick-and-mortar office within 50 miles of Juneau, AK. Veterans come to your office for their exams. No clinic space is provided for this role.
The work
You examine veterans and record what you find on standard disability evaluation forms. Each exam is a one-time evaluation, not ongoing care. You do not treat, prescribe, or manage these patients afterward. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
What you need

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
Board certification
NPI number
Current ACLS and BLS
Active DEA
Your own office within 50 miles of Juneau, AK
CV in month and year format

How it starts

Send your CV, state license, board certification, ACLS and BLS, DEA, and NPI.
Once you are accepted, the rest of the credentialing paperwork is due within 3 days.
Online training runs about 8 to 10 hours, is paid, and must be finished within 7 business days.
You then complete a virtual pre-exam orientation, and your first exams are scheduled.
