Coupeville is the second oldest town in the State of Washington and is situated in the heart of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve. It is home to the historic Coupeville Wharf, unique shops, restaurants, and lodging. Kayaking on Penn Cove, taking walks along the many woodland trails that surround Coupeville, amazing views of the Olympic Mountains, and the abundance of Eagles, Blue Herons, and other wildlife are just some of what is known as the Coupeville Experience. With a ferry service connecting central Whidbey to the Olympic Peninsula, the region is really a perfect home base from which to explore the entire Puget Sound.

The Group
WhidbeyHealth Medical Center is a fully licensed and certified Critical Access Hospital, with DNV Accreditation. The WhidbeyHealth system, which includes the medical center, three EMS stations and eight outpatient locations, employs more than 700 staff members. An exceptional nursing team and more than 70 providers support a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.

The Position
Type of clinic/specialty: 2 Rural Health Clinics/NP or PA need for two Whidbey Island rural health clinics providing primary care to low to moderate income patients of all ages with a higher than average acuity. Minimum 3 years of experience in Primary Care.
How many hours per week: Full-time 40 hours
Whom else will the provider be working with?, is this a solo position: This position requires some clinical independence: supervising medical director may be off site.
What are the typical work hours: 10 hour shifts M-F
How many patients per day: 12-14
