Greater Family Health is recruiting for a part-time (~8 hours a week) Psychiatrist who will provide care to patients who are adolescents and older, presenting at either our 373 Summit Street, Elgin, IL or our 3901 Mercy Drive, McHenry, IL.

The position is entirely outpatient care provision, with no hospital call nor practice call. Most common diagnoses are anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder.

Patients are escorted, after checking in, to an examination room via a bilingual Medical Assistant, who will also provide Spanish translation as necessary. New patient appointments are either 60 or 45 minutes in length, and established visits are 15 minutes long. Ample administrative time in the care schedule allows for real-time charting, as well as active management of the Practitioner's Inbox and Provider Action Que.

Greater Family Health employs several psychiatrists and nurse practitioners and has extensive experience in the provision of behavioral health services both virtually and face-to-face, fully integrated with the traditional primary care specialists of family medicine, pediatrics, ob/gyn and dentistry.

The salary range for this role is $160-$200 an hour based on years of experience.

This practitioner provides comprehensive primary health care services to a primarily low-income population, focusing on adult medicine with some pediatrics. Well care, sick care and chronic disease management are common. The position provides outpatient care full-time 4 days a week, with 2 evenings until 7:30 pm, and 1 Saturday a month from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The position has no hospital rounding responsibilities and is responsible for practice call no more often than 1 week of every 35 weeks.

The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary health care services to a primarily low-income population, focusing on adult medicine with some pediatrics. Well care, sick care and chronic disease management are common. The position provides outpatient care during a 4-day work week, with 2 evenings until 7:30 pm, with 1 Saturday/month 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The position has no hospital rounding responsibilities and shares practice call for a week 1 out of every 35+ weeks.
