Rural Primary Care Clinic
You will be the known medical provider in the small rural Iowa town of Wapello
Seeing all ages of patients
Practicing with a high degree of autonomy
Clinic is open Monday - Friday

Someone who takes ownership of their practice and contributes to the team's growth
Comprehensive patient care – evaluating patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, for both acute illnesses (colds, infections, minor injuries) and chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease).
Health promotion and prevention – conducting annual physicals, well-child visits, immunizations, Medicare wellness exams, and patient education on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle.
Diagnosis and treatment – ordering and interpreting lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostics; prescribing medications; developing and managing treatment plans.
Chronic disease management – adjusting medications, monitoring progress, coordinating follow-ups, and providing education and support for long-term health conditions.
Procedures – performing basic in-office procedures like suturing, lesion removal, joint injections, or wound care depending on the APP's training, etc.
Care coordination – referring patients to specialists when needed, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members, and helping patients navigate available community resources.
Acute care – managing walk-in or same-day visits for minor injuries, infections, respiratory illnesses, and other urgent needs.

Compensation and benefits -

Starting salary of $120,000 - $130,000 (might be negotiable DOE)
