Fordland Clinic is a non-profit community health center. Our goal is to provide the same access to quality healthcare for everyone, no matter their income or insurance. We accept most private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. The clinic also has a sliding fee scale based on income for patients who are uninsured or underinsured. Fordland Clinic's Vision is to serve as a model of quality, affordable healthcare by offering comprehensive medical, dental, mental health, prevention and wellness services to all.

Scope-Purpose
A dental assistant in the state of Missouri may perform basic supportive dental procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Receive and prepare patients and operatories for dental treatment.
- Take digital x-rays.
- Using four-handed dentistry, assist with dental procedures, complete charting electronically, provide patient preventive education and oral hygiene instruction.
- Follow current infection control protocols for disinfection and sterilization of rooms, instruments and equipment.
- Recognize basic medical and dental emergencies.

- Vision Insurance – that includes coverage options for eye exams, glasses as well as contact lenses.
- Life Insurance – Fordland Clinic Provides $15,000 of life insurance to its employees at no cost to the employee. Additional life insurance coverage for employees, their spouse and children are also available at group pricing.
- Aflac Products – Employees have the option of purchasing additional products such as long-term disability, short term disability, accident, and other insurance products at group rates through our Aflac representative.
