Heart 2 Soul Counseling is an NHSC-approved outpatient mental health practice seeking a psychiatrist to join our growing team.
The primary focus of this position is psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment planning. The psychiatrist may also provide consultation, diagnostic services, care coordination, and other appropriate outpatient psychiatric services based on their interests, training, and professional scope of practice.

We do not believe clinicians should be pressured to continually increase their hours or fill every available appointment slot.

Remote psychiatric services must comply with applicable federal and Pennsylvania licensing, prescribing, controlled-substance, payer, professional, and regulatory requirements.

We are open to discussing hourly, fee-for-service, percentage-based, salary, or other appropriate compensation arrangements.
We encourage qualified psychiatrists to discuss the schedule and compensation structure that would make the position work for them.
Administrative SupportHeart 2 Soul Counseling provides administrative support so clinicians can focus primarily on patient care.

This position involves access to protected health information and confidential medical records.
The psychiatrist must comply with HIPAA, applicable privacy and security requirements, professional ethical obligations, and Heart 2 Soul Counseling policies.
Appropriate safeguards must be maintained to protect patient information, practice systems, and account credentials, and any suspected privacy or security incident must be promptly reported.
National Health Service CorpsHeart 2 Soul Counseling is an NHSC-approved site.
Eligible psychiatrists may have the opportunity to receive federal student loan repayment assistance through National Health Service Corps programs while completing qualifying service.
Heart 2 Soul will work with clinicians interested in NHSC participation to develop an appropriate schedule when reasonably possible.
NHSC participation is optional and separate from regular employment. Clinicians seeking NHSC benefits must meet current HRSA/NHSC requirements, including applicable service-hour, site, clinical-service, and work-arrangement requirements.
A psychiatrist who is not participating in NHSC may still choose a fully remote or highly flexible schedule when otherwise appropriate.
NHSC eligibility and awards are determined by HRSA and are not guaranteed by employment with Heart 2 Soul Counseling.
