Certified Nurse Midwife

Greater Meridian Health Clinic, Inc is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife:

Job duties include:

Providing prenatal care, including conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing complications during pregnancy

Facilitating the birth process and providing support to women during labor and delivery

Providing postpartum care, including conducting follow-up exams and providing counseling on family planning and general health

Collaborating with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary care to patients

Staying current on the latest research and best practices in midwifery care

Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery or related field.
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Prior experience in labor and delivery or midwifery practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Experience in community health or public health settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Advanced clinical skills, including suturing and emergency care.
• Knowledge of current practices and guidelines in women's health.
• Graduation from an accredited midwifery education program and certification as a CNM
• Active nursing license and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• At least 3 years of experience in midwifery care, with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with patients and families
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to each and every patient
