JOB DUTIES: This is an out-patient role providing Behavioral Health Services in-clinic and via telehealth.

The PMHNP will be performing comprehensive behavioral health care in a community health center setting. Patient population includes medically underserved areas. Responsibilities include prevention, diagnosis and treatment for patients with behavioral health, chronic or acute health care problems; practice medicine in accordance with generally accepted medical care standards; provides hospitalization and follow-up services and consults as necessary and appropriate; provides at least the minimum scheduled hours of office practice; carries out supervisor preceptorships of extender staff and other appropriate educational preceptorships; participates in appropriate professional continuing medical education as needed and maintain licensure; maintain knowledge of community resources for both social and medical referrals.
