Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
· Provide examinations, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients.
· Work with the primary healthcare team to provide patients with primary medical care services within the standard of care for Internal Medicine patients.
· Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate and called for.
· Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
· Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions. Discuss potential side effects, drug interactions, of medication/treatment with patients
· Implement and participate in medical programs consistent with the goals and objectives outlined by the Board of Directors.
· Assure 24-hour management and accessibility to patients in a rotation with other medical providers.
· Develop and update patient care protocols with other medical providers.
· Recommend medical supply and equipment purchases to the appropriate member of leadership.
· Maintain adequate and properly documented problem-oriented patient records in the EHR.
· Participate in all COMC Quality Improvement policies and activities.
· Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
· Adhere to and support all company policies and procedures.
· Participate in medical audits as required.
· Assure compliance with infectious waste protocols.
· Participate in meetings and events as required.
· Perform other appropriate duties as required.

Qualifications Requirements:
Must have received M.D. or D.O. from accredited medical school; possess a current Missouri license to practice medicine and current DEA licensure. Specialty physicians must meet qualifications that are required for their specialty.

Qualification Requirements: Must be currently registered as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Missouri, specializing in psychiatric healthcare.
Education and/or experience: Requires a minimum of a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
