| Patient Volume | Currently no cross coverage, but eventual plans to cover 20-40 medical patients for floor calls. Admissions: Shared admissions with on-site physician, average 8-12 from 7p to 7a. |
| Codes/Rapid Response | Residents run codes, ICU APP and hospitalist APP will assist along with the nocturnist. |
| Staffing Mix/Support | Onsite hospitalist physicians, ER, and anesthesia also onsite. |
| EMR | EPIC – will have the option to either test-out do a lab setup during orientation, or complete full EPIC orientation lab setup during orientation |
| Credentialing Info | They can grant temp/emergency privileges for a clean physician. There are several online modules that need to be completed during the credentialing process. |
| Additional Information | Given the timing, for this need, candidates must have clean file, no malpractice or background. There's an onsite ICU APP, so no ICU coverage required for this role. Geriatric fracture program all fx over age 65 to hospitalist service. They admit for many surgical specialties: gen surg, urol and also hem onc. |
| Bill Rates | Hourly: $195/hr OT: 1.5x but would need to be preapproved Travel and lodging can be billed as well. |
