Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Lake County Health Department is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Child Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse with Full Practice Authority to join our dynamic mental health team. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, a passion for pediatric mental health, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Full Practice Authority empowers qualified nurse practitioners to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients independently, including prescribing medications and managing treatment plans.

• Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
