Physician Assistant

Clinic Providers: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant: Full-time. Roosevelt Medical Center is a small facility is looking for an NP or PA with an interest in caring for patients in our rural health clinic, a 25-bed critical access hospital with long-term care, and a 24-hour ER. We do not provide surgical or obstetrical services. This is a great opportunity for the mid-level provider who likes autonomy and the chance to maximize his/her skills and knowledge in primary care. This job is also for the mid-level provider who wants to develop long-term relationships with patients and provide care for an individual across the continuum from infancy through old age. For these services, we will pay a competitive salary with benefits. The mid-level provider will work with the Physician and other Physician’s Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioners. Providers see between 10 and 20 patients per day in the Rural Health Clinic. The average daily CAH inpatient census is 1. Long term care census is 23-24. The emergency room visits average 40-50 per month, so while on call, providers are not onsite but must be available to respond within 30 minutes. The mid-level provider interacts with facility quality activities. Full-service lab with blood banking and some bacteriology. Radiology services include basic x-ray and Toshiba CT with off-site radiologist over-read. RMC is a State-designated trauma receiving facility. This position could be right for a mid-level provider wanting to maintain full-time practice but at a slower and much more personal pace. Clinic LPN or Medical Assistant: Full-time. Great full-time opportunity for an LPN or Medical Assistant who likes to care for patients of all types and ages in a variety of areas. Use your skills as a main point of contact for clinic patients fielding questions and concerns for our providers. Some responsibilities will include (but not limited to) rooming patients, patient care and follow up, working referrals, scanning medical records, stocking supplies, sterilizing equipment and chronic care management.
