The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) provides strategic leadership, clinical vision, and operational direction for Multnomah County’s Community Health Center (CHC). Grounded in a commitment to health equity, cultural humility, and anti-racism, the CMO oversees clinical programs and establishes policies that ensure patients and staff members feel welcomed, valued, and supported. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing complex clinical programs, providing medical consultation across diverse provider groups, and partnering effectively with diverse communities living in poverty. A dedicated culture-builder, the CMO fosters an environment of trust, respect, and strict adherence to workplace equity standards.
