POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to expand the CCH&WC & behavioral health staff to include a licensed provider that can provide psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations, and medication monitoring specifically for CCH&WC behavioral health beneficiaries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals diagnosed with mental health disorders.
· Prescribe and monitor medication regimens to manage psychiatric symptoms, following evidence-based practices.
· Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, to help patients cope with and overcome mental health challenges.
· Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.
· Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms.
· Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
