Nome is located on the southern Seward Peninsula coast on the Norton Sound of the Bering Sea. It has a population of 4000. A great place to have an Alaskan adventure.
Fulltime position
Working in one of the regional village clinics
Must have solid primary care experience and be able to handle emergencies
Seeing all ages of patients
Monday - Friday
8am-5pm
Sharing call duties with other providers in the village
Call is usually about 1-2 weeknights per week and one weekend per month
Compensation and benefits
$180,000 - $200,000 DOE

NHSC Loan Repayment: This position is at a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. Base salary: $180,000 - $200,000/yr. Providers here may qualify for up to $75,000 in tax-free federal student-loan repayment over a 2-year full-time commitment — a total potential first-two-years package of up to $475,000 ($400,000 in base salary over two years + up to $75,000 in loan repayment). Award amounts depend on the annual application cycle and your eligibility.
