Busy Psychiatric Services and Med Management team seeking qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Position is full time and can provide flexible schedule. Onsite practice here in Gering, Ne is preferable but combined onsite/telehealth may be considered for right candidate.
Areas of Responsibility: Support the goals, philosophy, and objectives of Community Action Health Center (CAHC). Work collaboratively with the psychiatrist and APRN team to provide patient assessment and diagnosis, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient education, prepare medical records, and refer patients for inpatient care in accordance with statues, regulations and protocols regulating the profession. Respectful of the confidentiality of the patients, co-workers, and clinic. Provided services to patients include Spravato and TMS treatments.
Qualified applicant may participate in the NHSC loan repayment program.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
