Full Time Salary: $65,000 to $82,865 per year
Part Time Hourly: $31.25 to $39.84 per hour
The Behavioral Health Provider will Provide behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, on-going therapy, and provide same day and crisis interventions to patients referred by High Plains Community Health Center (HPCHC) medical providers, self-referred, and community referred. Interagency and interdisciplinary care coordination and consultation as appropriate to promote positive patient outcomes. Provide community outreach to promote whole person, 360 care model of HPCHC.

The Behavioral Health Provider is an essential component to the success of HPCHC. This position is expected to prioritize time and responsibilities in the following manner:
70%: Clinical Activities
15%: Documentation
15%: Community Outreach
There will be opportunities for other duties as this position may evolve and policies and training may change. This position utilizes proper body mechanics, transfer/lifting techniques, and appropriate equipment to minimize fall risk to patients and/or injury to self. This is an OSHA Category 1 position.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
