Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Physician Assistant to provide patient care within our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and clinical oversight for our Urine Drug Monitoring Program.
The full-time role is structured around two days per week providing in-person addiction medicine services and two days per week working remotely on urine drug monitoring oversight.
This position combines direct patient care with laboratory-result interpretation, clinical documentation, compliance oversight, and protocol development. The ideal candidate is committed to compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals affected by substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Addiction Medicine and MAT Patient Care
- Provide in-person evaluations and follow-up care for patients receiving MAT services
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Assess treatment progress, medication response, adherence, and clinical risk
- Educate patients about medications, recovery, harm reduction, and treatment expectations
- Coordinate care with physicians, behavioral health providers, and other members of the treatment team
- Maintain complete, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Urine Drug Monitoring
- Review and interpret urine drug testing results, including screening and confirmatory laboratory analyses
- Evaluate unexpected, complex, or potentially inconsistent findings using the patient’s medications and clinical history
- Communicate clinically significant findings to the appropriate treatment providers
- Support consistent, evidence-based responses to urine drug monitoring results
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory requirements
- Help develop and refine clinical protocols, standard operating procedures, and compliance workflows
- Provide clinical guidance on complex or ambiguous cases
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, and patient safety
Schedule
- Full-time, four 10-hour shifts per week
- Full-time schedule includes approximately:
- Two days per week providing in-person MAT and addiction medicine services
- Two days per week performing remote urine drug monitoring work
- Specific hours and scheduling will be discussed during the interview process

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
