Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join GI hospitalist team.Practice highlights:• 182 shifts per year. 7 on 7 off including weekends and holidays
• Primary responsibility will be GI inpatient care working closely with the GI hospitalist
• Daily responsibility would include but not limited to:
• Rounding on inpatient GI consults and discussing with GI hospitalist
• Communicating with primary team and others about patient's care plan and results of GI procedure and other studies
• Educating patients on their GI diagnosis
• Assisting GI Hospitalist with preparing emergent GI procedure and other care as needed
