About Mercy Urgent Care
Mercy Urgent Care is the only dedicated and mission-driven nonprofit urgent care network in the region. We carry a lineage of healthcare excellence established by the Sisters of Mercy since 1900. Our mission is simple: to provide excellent and compassionate health care to anyone who seeks our services, regardless of background or means. Here's your chance to be a part of this enduring legacy.
Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment. Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award (up to $37,500). Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
What that's worth here: a provider carrying a $100,000 balance who takes this role and serves the initial two-year commitment would be debt-free in roughly 10 years — the NHSC award first, then PSLF forgiveness of the remainder (FQHCs are qualifying PSLF employers). Estimate only, using a representative balance — run your own numbers below.
