The Location -

Kewanee has a population of 13,000. It is located 45 minutes southeast of the Quad Cities and just under 3 hours to Chicago.

The Organization -

Established in June 1966, for more than 50 years, the Henry & Stark County Health Department has been devoted to "Protecting and Improving the Health of the Community.” Over the years we have continued to navigate the ever-changing landscape of public and community health. Our focus has always been to offer our residents needed, affordable health services. Through the Department and our First Choice Healthcare Clinics we have tried to create a "one-stop-shop” where patients can receive healthcare services which integrate primary care, public health, communicable disease control, emergency preparedness, health education, behavioral health, environmental health, maternal and child health, and home services.

The Position -

Full time position spending time in Kewanee and Toulon
Rural Outpatient primary care clinic
Can work 4 or 5 days per week
Seeing both scheduled and walk in patients
17-18 patients per day
All ages of patients
Working with 2 Primary Care NP's and a Psych NP
Call one week per month via phone for the County Jail (very limited)
E clinical EMR


Compensation and Benefits -
$50 - $60 per hour (could negotiate)
