Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Methodist Medical Group (MMG) in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a full-time Orthopedic APP to join its established orthopedic team. This role involves collaborative patient care across the continuum, from pre-operative assessment to post-operative recovery and discharge. The APP will utilize advanced clinical knowledge and independent decision-making to manage complex surgical patients within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision and collaboration with our dynamic and tenured orthopedic team
• Deliver patient-centered care across the continuum, from pre-operative assessment to post-operative recovery and discharge
• Utilize advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills to manage the care of complex surgical patients
• Diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions
• Providing pre and post-operative care
• Educating patients on their conditions and treatment options

Requirements

• Graduate of a NP or PA accredited program
• Board Certification
• 1 year of related experience, preferred
• Outpatient, inpatient and rounding responsibilities
• Ability to travel to different hospital campuses and clinics
• Experience with upper extremities, is a PLUS, but not required
