Norton Sound Health Corporation is organized in six sections: Community Health Services, Hospital Services, Medical Staff, Human Resources, Finance, and Engineering and Capital Projects. The President/CEO and General Counsel report directly to the Board of Directors. Direct reports to the President/CEO include those from the Chief Operations Officer, Medical Director, Compliance Officer, Quality Director, Public Relations, Administration, and Tribal Self-Governance.
The departments under Community Health Services include Village Health Services, Behavioral Health Services, Health Aide Training, Wellness, Office of Environmental Health, Infant Learning Program, and Environmental Services/Laundry. Village Health Services manages village clinic staff, including Community Health Aides and Clinic Travel Clerks. Behavioral Health Services includes Nome staff and Village-Based Counseling. The Wellness department includes CAMP, WIC, Tribal Healing, and Nutrition Services.
The PositionNHSC Loan Repayment: This position is at a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. Providers here may qualify for up to $75,000 in tax-free federal student-loan repayment over a 2-year full-time commitment. Award amounts depend on the annual application cycle and your eligibility.
