We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Connecticut. This opportunity begins on Dec 26, 2025, and is a 1-day assignment with 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm. The provider will be expected to manage all incoming patients, including those requiring suturing and splinting, and address COVID-related cases. Job Details Location: Connecticut Start Date: Dec 26, 2025 LOA: 1 day Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Assistant Schedule: 8am-8pm; providers see all patients before leaving, with patients accepted until 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends Responsibilities and Duties Provide urgent care services, including evaluation and management of acute illnesses and injuries Perform suturing and splinting as required Assess and treat COVID-related cases Manage patient flow to ensure all patients are seen before the end of shift Deliver care in a high-volume setting with fluctuating patient demands Additional Information Must hold a current Connecticut license as a Physician Assistant Ability to work efficiently in a busy urgent care environment Flexibility to manage sporadic shifts as needed Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
