The location -
Box Elder is 1.5 hours of Northeast Montana. It is 3 hours from Glacier National Park. This is a very rural community in far Northern Montana.
The organization -
Rocky Boy Health Center (RBHC) has been serving the Chippewa Cree community since 1976. Today, we provide comprehensive healthcare to over 5,000 people with a staff of more than 200 employees dedicated to patient care, prevention, and community well-being.
As an ambulatory care facility, RBHC offers a wide range of services, including primary care, dental, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, behavioral health, public health nursing, physical therapy, optometry, chiropractic, and traditional healing support. We also provide care coordination, community wellness programs, youth development initiatives, medical transportation, and outreach services to ensure our patients receive the care they need both inside and outside the clinic.
The job -
Rural Tribal Health
Outpatient clinic
Comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services
Seeing patients of all ages
Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients
Order and interpret labs, diagnostic testing, and imaging
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
Promote preventative care and patient education
Collaborate with providers, nursing, pharmacy, behavioral health, and support staff
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
Schedule can be 5 / 8's or 4/10's
Compensation and benefits -
Likely salary will be between $130,000 - $170,000 (this will vary per candidate and experience)
