ARcare is a Federally Qualified Health Center, which generally makes it NHSC-eligible. NHSC site approval is verified per individual clinic location and requires the site to be on the active NHSC site list. As a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center, ARcare is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) who make 120 qualifying monthly payments while employed at ARcare are eligible for forgiveness of their remaining federal Direct Loan balances.

ARcare operates 90 clinic sites, primarily based in Memphis, Tennessee. Multi-site FQHCs often offer providers flexibility to rotate between locations or specialize at a specific site — which can meaningfully affect daily commute, patient mix, and team structure.
