Job Summary:
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides patient care in the Church Health Medical Clinic, treating both an established patient panel as well as urgent care visits. This position educates patients and families about preventive care, medical issues, use of prescribed medical treatments, and or medications.

Work is frequently active in nature and requires the ability to move around a large workspace on multiple floors. The job requires some amount of computer work and hand dexterity. the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. on a regular basis.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
