Seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a Community Health Center just outside of Fresno.

LOCATION : Oakhurst, CA -

• Oakhurst (formerly, Fresno Flats) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Madera County, California, 14 miles (23 km) south of the entrance to Yosemite National Park, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

GROUP/SETTING :
Camarena Health started in 1980 as El Concilio De Madera and started seeing patients in September 1980. They initially say 1500 patients in their first year and in 2012 they have grown to see 27,269 patients and handled 127,036 encounters. Over the last 30-plus years, they have grown to become one of the largest local community-based health care providers offering both dental and medical care. They have 6 state-of-the-art facilities to meet the demands of their patients. Camarena Health provides services in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatric Care, OB/GYN, Lab Services, Dental, Behavior Health and Wellness, Optometry and even Pharmacy. Serving Madera, Chowchilla, and Oakhurst communities.

POSITION :
PA and NP with family practice experience
See 18-20 patients per day
Soap Charting documentation
Outpatient setting.
Will work in a community-based health system providing primary care to all age patients. Full support staff in place
Clinic hours M - F 8 - 5
Wide range of optical services from health screening, immunizations, chronic disease mgmt, acute care, physical and annual exams, health and nutrition education
Will provide phone triage on rotational basis approx. once every 3-5 month's on weekends or during evening hours (very minimual)

COMP & BENEFITS :
Salary: $140K - $145,000 DOE
Production bonus - after 22 patients in a day, they pay additional $10 per patient
Vacation: 3 weeks, 4 weeks after 3 years –
9 paid holidays CME:
5 days and $2100 allowance
Loan Repayment - NHSC: $50K over two years with two-year commitment
Retirement: 100% Match up to 5% of salary

IDEAL PROVIDER :
Active CA license i. Must maintain current CPR/BLS certification Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred, not required Will be a good culture fit in the clinic

PROCESS/STEPS FOR INTERVIEW:

CV's are sent to Gabe Mejia - his the Director of Human Resources Gabe will call and screen candidates for the position and discuss with CMO and COO Invitation to visit would be extended and Gabe would handle arranging the site visit. After the visit takes place, they gather everyone's feedback and decide whether they will extend an offer. The offer will be verbalized and agreed upon before they send an executable offer.
