Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife

Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest (PPPSW) is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife for their Imperial Valley Health Center. This role involves providing high-quality reproductive healthcare, including exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling. The successful candidate will also support and empower both licensed and non-licensed team members, contributing to a professional nursing environment focused on evidence-based protocols.

Practice Info

• Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements.
• Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care.
• Work in a supportive and professional nursing environment, where we believe in evidence-based protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling.
• Support and empower both licensed and non-licensed team members.
• Receive a rigorous training and on-boarding program similar to a fellowship.
• Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy).
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to help you grow as a provider.
• Jump in to help with coverage if need be.

Compensation

• $62.51 - $79.46 an hour
• The hiring rate for this position is: $62.51- $79.46/hourly
