Nurse Practitioner providing primary medical care to adult patients.
This is an out-patient role performing comprehensive health care in a medically underserved area, including prevention, diagnosis and treatment for patients with chronic or acute health care problems; practice medicine in accordance with generally accepted medical care standards; provides hospitalization and follow-up services and consults as necessary and appropriate

Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
