Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
What that's worth here: a provider carrying a $100,000 balance who takes this role and serves the initial two-year commitment would be debt-free in roughly 10 years — the NHSC award first, then PSLF forgiveness of the remainder (FQHCs are qualifying PSLF employers).
