The location -

Happy Camp has a population of approximately 1200. It's a very rural community in far North Central California. It's made for outdoors people. Hiking, Hunting and Fishing are very prevelant.

The organization -

Karuk Tribe is a organization that provides many services to it's members. One of the services is providing health care. In addition, they have dental, housing, community development and a health program.


The position -

Outpatient primary care clinic
Working independently with phone access to Medical Director at all times
Seeing all ages of patients
Acute illness
Many chronic illness patients including depression and addiction
Scheduled appointments with some walk in's
Clinic open Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm
10 - 12 patients per day
"on call " by phone 1 time per month
E clinical EMR
"Tiny home " available for the provider (up to 1 year)

Compensation and benefits -

Salary for PA = $150,000 - $205,000 DOE
Salary for NP = $180,000 - $215,000 DOE
