Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - School-Based

MVHC is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing School-Based Health Team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established outpatient practice, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare to the community. The role offers a supportive environment with no call responsibilities and a focus on patient-centered care.

Practice Info

• 100% outpatient only
• Opportunity to work with a well-established team consisting of physicians, mid-level providers, licensed social workers, RNs and LPNs
• Close proximity to community hospital for easy access to additional services
• Epic EMR
• No Call

Responsibilities

• Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Supports change and participates in activities to promote organizational development
• Reviews and complies with MVHC policies and procedures related to regulatory standards (HFAP, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
• Demonstrates actions and behaviors that consistently contribute to the safety of all (i.e., incident reporting, hazards, and infection control management, etc.)
• Positively and appropriately accepts direction and contrastive input from Leadership
• Completes appropriate documentation within the specified timeframe
• Follows proper technique in assisting and preforming procedures
• Recognizes and reports signs of abuse or domestic violence

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• 40 hours per week
• Average working hours with possible non-traditional hours

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
• NP Certification or Ohio Physician Assistant License
• One to two years of clinical experience preferred
• CPR Certification
• Supervisory experience a plus
• DOT Certification is preferred
