Two years practicing in family practice, acute or urgent care setting. Experience in delivering services to medically underserved populations and cultural competency. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records required.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment. Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award (up to $37,500). Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
Alaska is a full practice authority state — Nurse Practitioners can evaluate, diagnose, prescribe, and manage treatment without a collaborative or supervisory agreement.
