PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Behavioral Health Practitioner (BHP) is responsible to provide an array of mental health/behavioral health services within the FoundCare clinics, serving children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients, in collaboration with Primary Care Providers (PCP). The BHP will screen, evaluate, and monitor patient mental health. The BHP will be part of the interdisciplinary team and will participate in developing individualized treatment plans.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
