PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) provides comprehensive, culturally competent, and patient-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The APRN plays a key role in delivering preventive, acute, and chronic-care services to a medically underserved population, with an emphasis on health equity, access, and community-based care.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
