Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Riverton, WY. The FNAP/PA is a licensed healthcare provider responsible for delivering outpatient primary care services to patients across their lifespan. Working within the scope of practice established by the State of Wyoming, the FNP/PA independently evaluates, diagnose, treats, and manages a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions while promoting preventive care and healthy lifestyles.

The CMA provides clinical support services to the providers. Duties include:
This position also requires Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency and a basic knowledge of front office procedures such as scheduling appointments. Currently seeking either a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or a Physician’s Assistant (specializing in Pediatrics), to join our amazing team of providers in our Riverton, WY location, providing direct patient care to children from infancy through adolescence. Our mission is to provide affordable and high-quality patient care with a comprehensive range of health care services for residents of Central Wyoming, regardless of income, treating all patients with compassion, dignity, and respect. Work is performed in a typical outpatient clinic environment and may require some travel, as we have other rural health clinics located throughout central Wyoming.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
