Valley Health is seeking a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join their expanding Cardiothoracic Surgery Team at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. This role involves providing comprehensive care within a program that performs 500 cardiac procedures annually and is recognized as a top cardiovascular program. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing team, utilizing minimally invasive techniques and a successful structural heart program.

• Join a Cardiothoracic Surgery Team expanding to three cardiac surgeons and a pool of APPs.
• Anticipated call rotation of 1:4 coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide services at Winchester Medical Center.
• Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.
• Surgical first assisting for cardiac surgery.
• Provide peri-operative care for cardiac patients.
• Provide post-operative care for cardiac patients.
• Act as the liaison between the surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and other care providers.

Compensation

• Highly competitive salary with hospital employment.
• Salary: $232,125 - $242,125 (Yearly Salary).
