Position OverviewACCESS Family Care is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our integrated behavioral health team within our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role provides comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services to patients across the lifespan.
The PMHNP works collaboratively with primary care providers, therapists, and the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and evidence-based treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). This position plays a key role in improving access, continuity, and outcomes for underserved populations.
Job PurposeThe Medication Provider assesses clients and, when appropriate, prescribes medications to ensure the behavioral health needs of individuals enrolled in the program are met.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
