Job Summary:

The Staff Physician of Primary Health Services Center is charged with providing direct patient care as well as a leadership example in all areas relating to the clinical operations of the health center. The Staff Physician is responsible for assisting with the implementation of clinical policies and procedures; supervising the clinical mid-level, nursing and support staff; insuring continuous quality improvement in all clinical activities; and acting as an integral part of the healthcare team of the health center.

The Nurse Practitioner works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treat, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients. The Nurse Practitioner performs these functions in accordance with the collaborative practice agreement (CPA) with the collaborating physician in the primary health care setting.
