Full-Time Licensed Master/Clinical Social Worker (Bilingual in English/Chinese speaking)
Reports To: Chief of Mental Health
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychosocial assessment, may include diagnostic interview
- Develop and implement treatment plan
- Provide psychotherapeutic interventions, including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, play therapy, family and couple counseling, and other evidence-based treatments
- Provide crisis intervention
- Provide behavioral health consultation
- Provide case management services
- Provide agency referral and follow up
- Provide community outreach/education services
- Maintain treatment records in accordance with Health Center’s guidelines
- Participate in agency Quality Assurance activities and case conference
- Supervise LMSWs, interns, and volunteers
- Attend departmental meetings
- Ability to work on weekends and during late hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited social work school
- New York State Social Worker License required
- Basic CPR (BCLS) Certification required (Health Center will provide if needed)
- Prior experience as a social worker in mental health field preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills a must
- Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

- Provide psychiatric and psychopharmacological care to patients
- Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure that the patient is receiving quality comprehensive medical care
- Provide consultations as requested by the medical providers
- Establish reviews and evaluate treatment plans and goals with patients
- Manage caseloads and documentation through electronic medical records system
- Participate in on-call rotation after business hours
- Participate in quality assurance activities
- Some weekend hours required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited medical school
- Licensed to practice in New York State
- Basic CPR (BCLS) certification required
- Experience preferred
- Specialty Certification preferred
- Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-time annual base salary at $200,000 - $250,000, with additional productivity-based incentive pay
