OBGYN Nurse Midwife

CRHS is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join its Physician Services team, delivering comprehensive medical care aligned with the organization's strategic vision. This role focuses on providing women's health services across the lifespan, emphasizing wellness promotion, illness prevention, and the management of acute minor and stable chronic illnesses. The successful candidate will contribute to an active team environment, ensuring high-quality patient care.

• Provides women's health to patients throughout their life cycles
• Emphasizes wellness promotion, illness prevention, care of acute minor illnesses and stable chronic illnesses for all life cycles

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient clinical care in an ambulatory setting
• Performs health maintenance exams with appropriate patient education for all age groups, including adult physicals with pap and pelvic exams
• Performs pregnancy confirmation and introduces pregnant patients into the prenatal program at the clinic, providing prenatal care in coordination with physicians
• Examines patients with specific acute complaints or stable chronic illnesses, initiating treatment for identified conditions according to written protocol
• Works closely with clinic physicians in referring patients with significant abnormal findings
• Provides appropriate level of clinical and educational services as needed that is age and condition appropriate
• Participates in performance improvement (PI) projects
• Maintains chart documentation, tracking and reporting systems as indicated for continuity of care

Requirements

• Must have satisfactorily completed a training program approved by the State Composite Board
• Requires and maintains current state license as a Registered Nurse
• Requires and maintains current state certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife
• Maintains a current certification in Basic Life Support (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within three (3) months of hire)
• Requires two to four years of work-related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience
