Medical Director, Skilled Nursing Facility

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Medical Director for its 80-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. This role involves a balanced commitment to both clinical and administrative duties, with a focus on strategic planning and operational oversight. The Medical Director will play a key role in ensuring high-quality healthcare service delivery for Alaska Native and American Indian people.

Practice Info

• Oversee the 80-bed ANTHC Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Work 50% as a clinician and 50% as an administrator.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop facility goals and priorities and oversee the strategic plan for implementation.
• Make appropriate adjustments and modifications to services to meet patient needs.
• Oversee all aspects of clinical and administrative operations, including quality assurance, clinic management, and health care service delivery.
• Provide leadership for facility staff.

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Provider with 3-5 Years of relevant experience managing or directing in Long Term care, Post Acute Care, or Skilled Nursing facility operations.
