Pediatric Physician (MD)
Location: Jackson Heights, NY
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physician (MD) to join our growing pediatric practice in Jackson Heights, NY. This role is designed for an experienced professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care to children and supporting our vibrant local community. Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Care: Provide well-child visits, sick visits, developmental assessments, and preventive health education.
- Clinical Management: Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Collaboration: Work closely with pediatricians, nurses, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care.
- Family Education: Educate families on growth, nutrition, immunizations, and overall child wellness.
- Language Support: Effectively communicate with and treat Spanish-speaking patients and families. Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards using our EMR system.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a physician in a pediatric setting is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right candidate, provided they have Spanish language proficiency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (ECW) EMR system is preferred
- Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Current Physician license in the state of New York.
- Certification: Certification in Pediatrics with a strong pediatric background.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
