The Women’s Health Center is a provider-based clinic located within NMRMC, serving women in a four-county area. NMRMC OB department delivers approximately 360 babies annually. In 2022 and 2023, the OB department received the All Around Best of the Best OB Departments by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for Newborn Screening Standards. Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
