**Job Summary:**
The Nurse Practitioner - Family Health provides primary healthcare to a selected group of patients, focusing on wellness promotion, illness prevention, and managing acute minor and stable chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians in accordance with education and state laws.
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervising and providing clinical direction to clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants.
- Adhering to all clinical policies and procedures, including infection control principles and confidentiality.
- Assessing physical and psychosocial health status through medical history and physical examination.
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests.
- Triage, diagnose, and treat illnesses and physical conditions within the specialty area of practice.
- Performing therapeutic and corrective measures, including prescribing medication, and providing preventive health maintenance and education.
- Teaching and counseling patients, families, and groups.
- Adhering to the conditions specified in the Nurse Practitioner Practice Agreement.
- Participating in quality improvement activities.
- Complying with guidelines set by collaborating physicians and regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery.
- Performing special assignments as requested.
- Preparing written documentation, maintaining, distributing, analyzing, and protecting information for required records, reports, and statistics.
- Directing, instructing, and evaluating nurse practitioner students.
- Contributing to Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities.
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned.

- Deliver general dentistry, diagnostic, preventive, and restorative services to patients.
- Refer patients to appropriate healthcare providers for additional evaluation or support when necessary.
- Maintain thorough patient care records, including medications, allergies, data, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Oversee dental care quality standards through Quality Assurance and Peer Review Audits.
- Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plans, and expected outcomes.
- Address patient inquiries promptly and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in a respectful manner.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and carry out other relevant duties as needed.

Salary Range: $155,000 - $165,000, depending on experience.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment (or up to $100,000 in some Substance Use Disorder Workforce categories). Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award. Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, CRNAs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
