WCHC is looking for a compassionate, competent Physician assistant/ Nurse practioner to work in a rural critical access hospital (25 bed) , LTC (10 bed) and Clinic. Wichita County is around 2000 population, and we have a facility all in one. Clinicians will see inpatients, outpatients, ER, Rural health clinic patients, and LTC residents. We are seeking an interested Physician assistant to work with a great team of providers. We would ask the provider to work 4 days in clinic and provide 1/4 call rotations, 1 day of call Monday - Thursday and one weekend call a month. Friday, Sat, Sunday. WE have competitive wages, and benefits and loan repay options. We have Avel emergency telemedicine in our facility, so you have a board certified Emergency room provider who is able to assist with difficult ER's. We are looking for a provider interested in seeing our patients, developing relationships with a panel of patients, willing to learn, grow. We prefer a DOT certified trained provider or willing to get their DOT certification. We are interested in a provider who wants to be part of our rural community, team driven, willing to work well with others, willing to learn ACLS, ATLS, at minimum .
