Job description:
Join our team! We are seeking experienced counselors for full-time, 12-month positions. Duties include individual and group-based clinical, work assessments and case planning. Candidates may be expected to provide some level of telehealth services. One or two evenings per week; flexible scheduling during business hours. Supervision and additional training provided. Professional work environment.
Qualifications: Qualified Health Professionals including NYS licensed clinicians and CASACs. Preference for those who provide dual diagnosis (MH/SUD) services. Experience preferred, but will consider recent graduates.
Starting salary is $53,000 for clinicians with limited experience. Higher salaries offered based on years of experience and credentials. Benefits include health & dental insurance, life insurance, paid sick and personal time, 12 paid holidays and a 401k.

Provides evaluations, assessment and diagnoses for the purpose of prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications. Provides medication assistance treatment (MAT) services to clients with substance use disorders, including low threshold buprenorphine. Experience prescribing MH medications is highly preferred.. Consults with collaborating psychiatrist and counseling/other staff for treatment planning and crisis management. Maintains electronic client case records according to regulatory and agency defined standards. Provides coverage for other prescribers as necessary.

Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program.
