Western Sierra Medical Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to provide comprehensive general and preventative care at their Downieville location. Federally Qualified Health Centers participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Clinicians who serve at least two years full-time at an FQHC can receive up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment. Half-time service is also eligible at a reduced award (up to $37,500). Eligibility extends to NPs, PAs, CNMs, and physicians with qualifying education debt.
California is a full practice authority state — Nurse Practitioners can evaluate, diagnose, prescribe, and manage treatment without a collaborative or supervisory agreement.
